Darcy Younghans
Division A - Vice-Chair
Darcy Younghans was born and raised in a rural farming area near Heinsburg. He graduated from the University of Alberta in 1988 with a Bachelor of Education. Over the course of his 32-year career, he has worn multiple hats, including teacher, athletic director, vice principal, and principal.
For twelve years, Darcy was also involved with ASAA (Alberta Schools Athletic Association) as a director and commissioner. His dedication extended beyond school boundaries, as he proudly represented Team Alberta in a Mission Staff capacity for the Arctic and Canada Games.
Currently entrusted as a Trustee for St. Paul Education, Darcy considers it both an honor and privilege. His unwavering commitment is directed towards fostering a positive, inclusive environment, marked by open and transparent communication. In doing so, he aims to elevate the overall quality of education and contribute to the betterment of our educational community.
