On June 17, the Alberta government announced new restrictions on personal mobile device use and social media access in schools. Starting this fall, students will be prohibited from using personal mobile devices in classrooms and accessing social media on school networks. In the coming months, our school division will develop procedures and policies that align with the new Ministerial Order.
